So I finally decided to try the WordPress app on my android phone. It seems to be ok, but I’ll have to see if I can do all the things I do on the website from my phone. I’m actually using voice to text to see how well it will translate what I’m saying. So far, it has only screwed up one time.
I hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve. We spent it at home and for the first time Gabe decided to stay up and celebrate the New Year with us. He started jumping up and down as the countdown hit 30 seconds, and really enjoyed toasting with everyone to celebrate the New Year. Of course it wasn’t champagne, it was apple cider, which is something we’ve done since before we got married.
We’re quietly spending the day at home watching the Rose Parade, watching movies, playing video games, and of course having our lunch of black eyed peas and cabbage just because that’s what it’s supposed to be. We’re thinking about working on the new audio and video editing studio in our dining room, the hard part now is building the acoustic damping panels. We have the rockwool insulation, burlap, and framing to build the panels, it’s just the actual labor to put them together.
Hopefully, this will allow me to write more blogs and of course get more done during down time between classes. Trying to get back to doing at least one blog a day. The hard part for me is that I don’t want to sound like one of the talking heads on TV or network radio. There’s a ton of topics out there that need to be addressed but there’s also politics which seems to overshadow everything else out there.
This little experiment seems to be working pretty well. I’ve only had to edit two or three words throughout this entire Blog and I dictated it to word to text. I might try to do in another blog later today just to see if I can use this more consistently.
